Stop Incidents at the Root
At Slimdor, we put emphasis on trying to prevent the occurence of incidents. To do that, we believe that putting focus on near miss reporting to be an essential tool in the process. The incident pyramid tells us that for every incident, there are 10 near misses leading up to it. Our focus is to pay more attention to the reporting and prevention of near misses in order to extend that safe practce to the prevention of incidents.
No Harmful Impact
In all that we do, Slimdor strives to mitigate all harmful activities. For this, Slimdor focuses on the impact of our activities on employees, the public, the environment and property. Our aim is not only to be incident free, but going beyond to try and be impact free.
Safety Process
On a monthly basis, our safety department reviews all job site processes and situations to continually refine and improve our policies and procedures. This allows us to ensure that we are, at all times, operating as safely as possible. These meetings are used in addition to daily tailgate meetings to ensure consistent communication with our employees for safety matters.
